December 6th Sensory Santa

What is Sensory Santa?

Sensory Santa is for children with Autism, sensory processing disorders or any child with a disability.  This event is for families to have an opportunity to meet Santa in a sensory friendly environment.  We will have dim lighting, no music, less crowding and Santa will speak in a soft and gentle voice along with our elfs.    We want this first annual event to be a memorable time for our families.  We will have sensory activities to allow time for children to adapt to their environment.  We have partnered with First Baptist Church to offer this event in the Pastor's Class Building on 7th and Broadway in Plainview.  It is scheduled for Dec. 6th from 5-7 pm, right before the city Christmas  parade.  The first 50 special needs children will receive a gift, all will receive a coloring book and a candy cane.
